
On the holy occasion of Basant Panchami, a sea of faith thronged the Triveni Sangam on Monday for Amrit Snan. On the third Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh, crores of devotees started gathering on the sand of Sangam with the wish of virtue from late night itself. The entire fair area echoed with the sky-piercing proclamation of Har-Har Gange, Bam Bam Bhole, and Jai Shri Ram.
The third and final Amrit Snan of the Akharas started at around 3 am. Meanwhile, Naga sadhus were seen performing stunts. The administration showered flowers on the devotees who came to the Mahakumbh from helicopters. So far 62.25 lakh people have taken a dip in the Sangam on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami. According to the administration, so far 34.97 crore people have taken a bath in the Sangam.
Tight security arrangements
On the special instructions of CM Yogi, there are tight security arrangements. DIG and SSP themselves are monitoring the arrangements by coming down to the field in the Mahakumbh Mela area.
After bathing, devotees were seen doing charity.
Along with the devotees, sadhus, saints, Mahamandaleshwars, and devotees from the country and abroad were seen taking a holy dip in the Sangam. Along with this, very strict security arrangements have been made. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, all the arrangements for the wonderful and divine Mahakumbh were ensured for Amrit Snan. The traffic remained completely smooth and the devotees did not have to face any inconvenience. After bathing, devotees were seen doing charity.

Excited devotees welcomed the saints laden with flowers and garlands on the Sangam bank by showering flowers on them. Due to this, the atmosphere of the entire Mahakumbh became more grand.
The amazing performance of Naga Sadhus during the last Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh 2025 became the center of attraction for the devotees. The traditional and unique activities of these sadhus on the Triveni bank caught everyone's attention. The discipline and traditional weapon skills of these Naga sadhus, who were leading most of the Akharas for Amrit Snan, were worth seeing. Sometimes playing the Damru and sometimes waving spears and swords, these sadhus gave a wonderful display of martial arts. These sadhus were displaying their tradition and enthusiasm by brandishing sticks and frolicking.
Shobha Yatra on horses and foot
In the Shobha Yatra of Akharas taken out for Amrit Snan on Basant Panchami, some Naga sadhus were riding horses while some were walking on foot, adorned with their distinctive costumes and ornaments. With flowers in their matted hair, garlands of flowers, and tridents waving in the air, they further increased the sanctity of Maha Kumbh. No one could stop these sadhus from living in self-discipline, but they moved forward following the orders of the top officials of their Akharas.
Amid the sound of drums, their enthusiasm made this occasion even more special. His performance with the trident and damru gave the message that Maha Kumbh is not merely a religious event but a celebration of the union of nature and man.
