School Closed News: Schools closed in many districts due to heavy rains in UP-Uttarakhand

Due to the moist winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and the Western Disturbance becoming active once again, such weather activities have been created. According to the Meteorological Department, a red alert has been issued in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand regarding heavy to very heavy rains. Because of the warning of heavy rains, the administration has directed the closure of schools in several districts in both states.

 

Schools closed in these districts of Uttarakhand

IMD has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains in the next 24 hours in the Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand. A red alert has been issued in the Kumaon region and an Orange alert in the Garhwal region. In 5 districts of Kumaon, Nainital, Champawat, Almora, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh, school holidays have been declared on Friday. At the same time, schools in Tehri and Pauri of Garhwal will also remain closed today.

Due to heavy rains in many districts of Uttar Pradesh since Wednesday night, normal life has been disturbed. Schools remained closed in many districts of UP due to heavy rains. At the same time, because of the torrential rains in Gonda, DM Dr. Ujjwal Kumar has issued an order to keep all the schools till the 12th closed. Schools will be closed on Friday and Saturday. Due to Sunday being a weekly holiday, schools will now open on Monday. Earlier on Thursday, schools in Ayodhya, Sultanpur, and Rae Bareli were ordered to remain closed for classes 1 to 8.

 

Due to this increased rain activities

According to the Meteorological Department, the 'cyclonic circulation' running from the coastal part of Andhra Pradesh is moving ahead by crossing Telangana, Vidarbha, and parts of Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, the chances of rain have increased in most parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next 72 hours.
