Apart from this, according to the department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states including Delhi, Haryana and East Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Orissa. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 25 states today. Talking about Delhi-NCR, it will be cloudy throughout the day on Friday. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places. After the fall, the maximum temperature is likely to be 30 while the minimum is 22 degrees Celsius.

Today the Meteorological Department has issued orders for UP, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry and Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh. A yellow alert has been issued regarding rain in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Light to moderate rain may occur in some places along with thunderstorms and strong winds in these states. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some places.

A red alert of heavy rain in Uttarakhand, a holiday in schools

Because of the warning from the Meteorological Department, a holiday has been declared in the schools in the districts along with Uttarakhand. Schools will remain closed today in all five districts except Udham Singh Nagar of the Kumaon division and the Pauri and Uttarkashi districts of the Garhwal division. Administration and disaster management teams have been alerted in the districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in Uttarakhand for 3-4 days. Because of heavy rains, a red alert has been issued in the whole of Uttarakhand today i.e. on Friday.
