There was a news in a section of the media that the Ministry has given permission to open schools in all the states after which this statement was issued by the spokesperson of the Home Ministry. The spokesperson tweeted that the Union Home Ministry has not taken any such decision. There is still a ban on opening of all educational institutions across the country.
All educational institutions have been closed since mid-March to prevent the spread of corona virus infection.
Forgive school fees for six months: Shiv Sena MLA told minister

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' announced that CBSE will conduct the remaining 10th and 12th board examinations at 15,000 centers instead of 3,000 scheduled earlier in the country. The delayed examinations will now be held between July 1 and July 15 in view of the corona virus lockdown. Nishank said, “Now the 10th, 12th examination will be conducted at 15,000 examination centers across the country. Earlier, CBSE was going to conduct examinations at only 3,000 centers. ” This decision has been taken to ensure social distance to the examination centers and to reduce the distance of students to the centers.
