Snowstorm killed many people in the US, and ban on driving in Buffalo; security forces deployed

A snow storm is wreaking havoc in America. More than 50 people have lost their lives due to this storm. The maximum effect of the storm is being seen in Buffalo. The situation here has become so bad that the state police and army have to be deployed.

 

Driving ban imposed in Buffalo

Erie County Executive Mark Polonkarz warned that police would be deployed at entrances to Buffalo and major intersections. At the same time, he said that driving has also been banned in the second most populous city of New York.

 

So far 30 people have lost their lives

Around 30 people were reported dead in the area, including seven storm-related deaths announced Tuesday by Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown's office, officials said. The snowstorm has wreaked havoc in Buffalo since 1977. According to information, 29 people have died in the area due to the snowstorm.

 

Snow storm wreaks havoc across America

The National Weather Service forecast that more than 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) of snow could fall in Erie County on Tuesday, affecting 275,000 residents in and around Buffalo. County Emergency Services Commissioner Dan Neverath Jr. said officials are concerned about the potential for a snowstorm later in the week. The rest of the United States is also facing a severe winter. Snow storms have caused havoc in many parts of America. At least two dozen additional deaths have been reported in other parts of the country. At the same time, there has been a power cut in Washington state.
