The Kerala Story: Controversy has reached its peak across the country regarding 'The Kerala Story'. On Sunday, where many multiplexes in Tamil Nadu including Chennai decided to stop screening 'The Kerala Story' on Sunday. People object to the story of the film, which tells how young Hindu women in Kerala are falling prey to a conspiracy to convert to Islam and incorporate them into the Islamic State.

Earlier, the court was also taken to stop the release of the film. However, after the hearing, the court refused to ban it. Since then two sides have come to the fore in the country, one says that exaggerations have been shown in the film and it will work to provoke the society. So many people are calling the film necessary for the women of the country.

 

Shabana Azmi supports 'The Kerala Story'

Sudipto Sen has now got the support of veteran actress Shabana Azmi in this matter. He tweeted, "Those who talk of banning The Kerala Story are as wrong as those who wanted to ban Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. Once a film is cleared by the Censor Board of If you get the certificate from the film certification, then there is no role left for any other constitutional authority."

 

The film is doing tremendous business at the box office

Let us tell you that Sudipto Sen's The Karel Story is doing very well at the box office. The film opened the account with 8.03 crores on the first day and the second day it earned more than 11 crores. On the third day, Ada Sharma hit the theaters with a sixer and did a business of above 16 crores. Made on a budget of 30 crores, the film has recovered its cost by earning more than 35 crores in three days.
