These days the issue of work shifts is hot in Bollywood corridors. After becoming a mother, Deepika Padukone was thrown out of the film for demanding an 8-hour shift. Many Bollywood celebrities gave their opinion in support of Deepika. Now Sonakshi Sinha's reaction has also come to the fore.
A few months ago there was news that Deepika Padukone was thrown out of the Spirit Movie only because she demanded a higher fee and an 8-hour shift. Celebrities like Kajol and Ajay Devgn also gave their reaction on this issue. Now let's know what Sonakshi Sinha's opinion is.
Sonakshi came out in support of Deepika.
Sonakshi Sinha is also standing with Deepika Padukone on the 8-hour shift issue. In a conversation with India Today, she said that she fully supports this and said that actors also work 8-hour shifts, so what is the problem with actresses' demand? Sonakshi said, "I have worked with actors who do not work after 8 hours. So I don't think there should be any difference for actresses as well."
The shift is based on the needs of the project.
Sonakshi Sinha has also talked about flexibility. She said, "It depends on the needs of the project and other things as well. You can schedule it in such a way that you can manage those hours. There are many other things to shoot with other people, which you can complete at the same time. I think it is possible."
Importance of 8-hour shift
Sonakshi further said, "I have been working for 15 years and there are many actors who have worked for less and more time than me. It is okay because apart from shooting you need time for yourself. Today if I am doing a film where I have to be very fit, I need two hours to go to the gym. If you keep me on the set for 12 to 14 hours, I will not be able to do it."
Sonakshi said that if she does not need to do these things then she is happy even in a 12-hour shift. She can give them 12 or 10 hours. It is known that Sonakshi's film Nikita Roy is releasing on 27 June.
