Many senior leaders including Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Jairam Ramesh, AK Antony, Digvijay Singh, and Kamal Nath were present in that meeting too. All these leaders are once again gathered at Sonia Gandhi's residence. This is the third meeting of the Congress leadership with PK in the last 4 days.
A senior Congress leader said about the future of PK, 'The final decision on him has been left to Sonia Gandhi. She is constantly talking to Prashant Kishor. These include creating booth-level WhatsApp groups to disseminate information, fighting alone in strong areas, focusing on the weakness of the party in each assembly, work on potential candidates and issues. Apart from this, PK has advised that Congress should take up issues like employment and security of the people while avoiding communal issues. The fight between the Gandhi family and PK started after Mamata Banerjee's victory in Bengal last year, which seems to be coming into effect now.
