Earlier also yesterday evening meeting was held. Many senior leaders including Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Jairam Ramesh, AK Antony, Digvijay Singh, and Kamal Nath were present in that meeting too. All these leaders are once again gathered at Sonia Gandhi's residence. This is the third meeting of the Congress leadership with PK in the last 4 days.
A senior Congress leader said about the future of PK, 'The final decision on him has been left to Sonia Gandhi. She is constantly talking to Prashant Kishor. After talking to senior party leaders, she will decide on the role of Prashant Kishor. It will be decided in what capacity they will join the party. A panel has been given the responsibility to discuss the plan of Prashant Kishor and within a week this panel will submit the report to Sonia Gandhi. The party leader said that the churning will continue with Prashant Kishor for a few more days. A decision on the status of PK will be taken soon by the Congress and the organization of Chintan Shivir will also be announced.

Prashant Kishor, who came into the limelight after PM Narendra Modi's victory in 2014, has since worked with many leaders including Mamata Banerjee, Nitish Kumar, and Captain Amarinder Singh. Since then, Congress has formed a war group, which is continuously churning on it. This plan will be presented in the Chintin Shivir to be organized in Udaipur on May 15-16.

PK's advice- WhatsApp group should be formed at booth level, avoid communal issues
On behalf of Prashant Kishor, some suggestions have also been given to Congress in terms of the upcoming elections. These include creating booth-level WhatsApp groups to disseminate information, fighting alone in strong areas, focusing on the weakness of the party in each assembly, work on potential candidates and issues. Apart from this, PK has advised that Congress should take up issues like employment and security of the people while avoiding communal issues. The fight between the Gandhi family and PK started after Mamata Banerjee's victory in Bengal last year, which seems to be coming into effect now.
