SpiceJet airline planes may soon get the benefit of broadband internet services. The company's chairman and CMD Ajay Singh said on Monday that the airline will soon introduce this in its aircraft. In the next few months, the Boeing-737 MAX aircraft in the company's fleet will start getting this facility.
46 Boeing aircraft included in the fleet
According to SpiceJet's website, the airline has a fleet of 91 aircraft, of which 13 are MAX aircraft and 46 are older versions of Boeing-737 aircraft. In an email to employees on the 17th anniversary of the airline, the CMD said that SpiceJet is flying with more passengers on a monthly basis and it is expected to increase in the coming months.
Will replace old planes with Max
Chairman Singh said the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft is back in service and the airline plans to replace all old aircraft with MAX in the coming months. By taking such steps, SpiceJet's network will be expanded to add new destinations in India and across the world. He said that we are hopeful that soon broadband internet service will be started in our planes.
