Dr. Arvind Kumar, Chairman, of the Chest Surgery Institute of Medanta Hospital has also confirmed this. He said that people's eyes are burning due to poor air quality index. The eyes are turning red and water is often flowing. Apart from this, there is a burning sensation in the nose and the lips are also getting affected.

 

He said the air quality index is poor and the level of smoke in the air has increased. Dr. Arvind Kumar said that the smoke is going into the chest, due to which people are facing the problem of a burning sensation. People are also having problems with the lungs. Apart from this, the throat of people is also getting worse. If you touch your tongue, you will feel a strange test there too. He said that this polluted air reaches the blood through the lungs and then it reaches from the head to the soles. We can say that every part of the body is being affected by this pollution.

 

Not only this, the doctor of Medanta said that in the last few days, the number of people admitted to the hospital due to pollution has also increased rapidly. He said that people are getting admitted to ICU here after suffering from chest infections and pneumonia. This is proof of how the level of pollution is increasing rapidly. There has been a rapid increase in the number of people admitted to the ICU after suffering from chest infections and pneumonia. He said that this is also affecting the brain and there is a risk of children becoming irritable. At the same time, due to this pollution in elderly people, the risk of stroke can increase up to 10 times.
