Russian President Vladimir Putin made it clear on Wednesday that his military action in Ukraine would continue for a long time. Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted Wednesday that his "special military operation" in Ukraine has dragged on longer than expected. Putin said the war can be a long process. However, Putin further said that Russia will not back down from taking any tough decisions for its interests. Meanwhile, Russia has signed a new security agreement with Belarus. After this agreement, the army and weapons of Belarus moved toward the Ukraine border. Russian troops are already present in Belarus. Putin said he is not going to make a new military deployment in Ukraine. A decision has already been taken to deploy three lakh reserve soldiers there in September-October.

According to the news agency AP, there are currently 1.5 million full-time soldiers stationed in Ukraine, of which 77,000 are assault squad personnel. Putin said this while addressing the nation on television. He said that western countries are waging all kinds of campaigns against Russia. Under this, they are propagating human rights abuses in Russia. We have one answer on the whole campaign Russia will not compromise with its national interests. We will go to any extent to protect our national interests.

Putin said, we first adopt the peaceful path of dialogue. But when that does not solve the problem then we are free to use the means available to us. It has become clear from Putin's statement that Russia is not going to talk to Ukraine about a ceasefire. Recently, the statement of US President Joe Biden raised the possibility of peace talks between the two countries. But Ukraine's latest attacks on Russian air bases have undermined the prospect of a ceasefire.

 

Eight were killed in Russian shelling

Eight people have been killed in shelling by the Russian army in the Kurakhov region of eastern Ukraine. Five people were also injured in the attack. Bus stands, petrol pumps, and residential buildings were targeted by Russian forces in the attack in Donetsk province.

The tension between the two countries increased significantly after Ukraine attacked Russia's third air force base. The US has expressed concern over the increased tension, as well as announced new military aid of $ 800 million for Ukraine. The US Congress has approved $800 million in military aid for 2023. Russia has called it a provocative step to increase tension.
