The Supreme Court heard again on Thursday about the lack of oxygen amid the Corona epidemic. During this, the Supreme Court expressed concern about the third wave of Corona. The court told the Center that scientists were referring to the third wave of Corona. There is a possibility of children being affected by it. What would parents do in such a situation? The court asked the Center for its plan. Also said that vaccination campaign should also be considered for children.

The Supreme Court also said that the third wave is yet to come. In such a situation, there should not be an oxygen crisis in Delhi. The government should focus on oxygen supply across the country. The court said that there is a need to re-think the way oxygen is audited and its allocation.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta: On May 4, a survey conducted in 56 major hospitals in Delhi revealed that there is a lot of stock of liquid medical oxygen (LMO). States like Rajasthan, Jammu, and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh are also demanding more oxygen supply. If 700 metric tons of oxygen will be supplied to Delhi, then the supply of other states will have to be cut.

Justice DY Chandrachud: What will happen between today and Monday? You should increase the oxygen supply. Delhi must provide 700 metric tons of oxygen. Health professionals are completely tired at this time. How will you ensure better health facilities?

Solicitor General: We are also concerned about remote villages. There should be an oxygen audit of Delhi. No one has trouble just because he is not able to speak loudly.

Justice Chandrachud: It is a matter of concern that scientists are talking about the third wave of Corona. There is a possibility of children being affected by it. Vaccination campaigns should be thought of for children.

People being treated at home also need oxygen. The formula for estimating the need for oxygen is incorrect. Yet we indeed have to think for the whole country. If we prepare today, we will be able to deal better with the third phase of Covid.

We should also consider electronic ICU. One lakh doctors and 2.5 lakh nurses are sitting vacant in the country. He could play a key role in Corona's third wave. One lakh doctors are waiting for the NEET exam. What do you have for them?

We should think about the coming wave of Corona. If you make a mistake while making the policy, you will be responsible for it.
