The suspense remains on who will be the next CM of Karnataka. Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar and former CM Siddaramaiah are the frontrunners in the race for the next Chief Minister (Karnataka New CM). After the declaration of the results of the Karnataka assembly elections, there is continuous churning regarding the new CM.

Siddaramaiah reached Delhi on Monday. DK Shivkumar is also reaching Delhi today. Before leaving for Delhi, DK Shivkumar said that the party is like a mother, will meet the party's high command, and the mother gives us whatever we want. He further said, 'Our number is 135, I do not want to divide anyone here. If the party wants, they will give me the responsibility. I will not backstab and I will not blackmail.

 

Earlier, Shivakumar canceled his visit to Delhi citing health reasons. It is being said that most of the Congress MLAs have named Siddaramaiah as the first choice, but Shivakumar is also not ready to give up the claim.

 

High command will decide on CM: Shivakumar

Shivakumar had said that all the MLAs are together. The party's high command will decide on the name of the chief minister. Talking to the agency, Shivakumar said, 'I do not want to comment on the name of the CM. Whatever I wanted to say, I have already said. I do not need the support of the MLAs. It's not important to me. We are all one and will work together.

 

there will be a meeting again today

For the last two days, churning is going on regarding the name of the CM of Karnataka. Today again a meeting is going to be held regarding this. Supervisor Sushil Kumar Shinde said that there will be a meeting again on Tuesday regarding the name of CM. The observers have submitted their report to party president Mallikarjun Kharge. A decision will be taken on this evening.

 

Oath taking ceremony will be on Thursday!

Earlier on Sunday, a meeting of the newly elected MLAs was held in Bengaluru in the presence of party general secretary KC Venugopal and central observers. In this, by unanimously passing a resolution, party chief Mallikarjun Kharge was given the right to elect the leader of the legislature party. The name of the CM may be announced today or tomorrow. The swearing-in ceremony may take place in the state on Thursday.
