The online auction of 1300 gifts received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the country and the world will start from September 17, i.e. the PM's birthday, which will continue till October 2. During this time, the amount received from the auction of gifts will be spent on the Namami Gange Mission started for cleaning the Ganga.
This is the seventh edition of the auction of PM's gifts, which started in the year 2019. Among the major gifts that have been put up for auction this time, the gifts received from the players of Paralympics 2024 are the most important. The base price of the gifts kept for auction has been kept from 17 hundred to 1.03 crores.

Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, while giving information about the online auction of gifts received by the PM starting from September 17, said that in the last six years, more than seven thousand gifts of the PM have been put up for auction, which has raised Rs 50.33 crore. This amount has been donated to the Namami Gange Mission.
This time too, very important gifts have been kept for auction, which include gifts received from players, idols of gods and goddesses, paintings, caps, swords, idols of temples etc. Anyone will be able to bid online for all these gifts from September 17.
The idol of Tulja Bhavani is the most expensive.
Meanwhile, among the major gifts of the PM that have been kept for auction is the idol of Tulja Bhavani, whose base price has been kept at Rs 1.03 crore, along with the shoes of Paralympics 2024 silver medalist Nishad Kumar, bronze medalist Ajit Singh, and Simran Sharma. Whose base price has been fixed at Rs 7.70 lakh separately.
Shekhawat said that it is a matter of great pride to keep the gifts of the PM in their homes, so a large number of people do not take them. Along with this, they also contribute to cleaning the Ganga.
