The body of social media influencer Kamal Kaur alias Kanchan Kumari was recovered from a car parked in the parking lot of a private hospital located on the Chandigarh National Highway in Bathinda on Wednesday late evening. Kamal Kaur was a resident of Laxman Basti, Ludhiana.
According to sources, Kamal Kaur had left on June 9, telling her mother that she was going to Bathinda for a promotional event. She was murdered on June 10. Her body was recovered from the car on June 11.
Information was received late Wednesday evening.
SP City Narinder Singh said that late Wednesday evening, information was received at the police control room that a foul smell was coming from a car parked in the parking lot of a private hospital located on the Chandigarh National Highway. After the police team reached the spot and when they checked the car, a woman's body was recovered from it.
The SP said that the police are investigating this matter from every angle. The real cause of death will be revealed only after the police investigation.
