
A car in Akshay Kumar's convoy was involved in an accident on the night of January 19th in Mumbai's Juhu area. A speeding Mercedes hit an auto-rickshaw from behind, causing the driver to lose control and collide with one of the cars in Akshay Kumar's security detail.
The auto-rickshaw driver was injured in the accident and was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. Akshay Kumar himself got out of his car and helped take the injured driver to the hospital. Akshay's team has not only ensured the driver received immediate medical attention but is also continuously in contact with his family regarding his treatment. The Mumbai Police have also arrested the driver responsible for the accident.

The auto-rickshaw driver involved in the accident has been identified as 22-year-old Washid Khan. Washid's brother told Mid-Day in an exclusive interview that his brother suffered a jaw fracture in the accident and is undergoing surgery. Recounting the incident, he said, "My brother left in his auto-rickshaw in the morning and went to the Juhu area to drop off a passenger. He was driving when a large car hit him from behind, completely damaging the auto-rickshaw."
Washid's brother further added, "Local residents took my brother to the hospital. The doctors said that surgery was necessary. He lives with his parents." During the conversation, Ziaw Mustafa also clarified that Akshay Kumar's team is constantly in touch with the family, providing updates on his medical expenses and his brother's health.

According to reports from news agency ANI, the police have arrested the Mercedes driver responsible for the accident. The police have registered a case against the man for negligent and reckless driving. The accused has been identified as Radheshyam Rai.
