The second wave of the Coronavirus has started in India. At present, there are signs of the second wave of Coronavirus in Maharashtra itself, but if there are similar horrific conditions of Coronavirus in the whole of India, then there is a possibility of a major catastrophe in the country. Statistics from the US and Europe indicate that the second wave of Corona in India will be more deadly. Indeed, researchers have revealed in different studies that the second wave of coronavirus has proved to be more dangerous and fatal than the first.
The Economist analyzed the study of the second wave of the Corona epidemic in 46 countries around the world, including Europe. At the same time, the University of Sydney and the University of Xinhua also analyzed deaths from Corona in the US and Europe. Besides, deaths from Spanish flu and corona have also been analyzed. After this, it has been claimed that in countries where the second wave of coronavirus occurred, there was more furor.
Even in India, Corona is once again raising its head. Maharashtra has the highest number of corona cases due to which a lockdown has been imposed in several districts including Nagpur and Akola, while a night curfew has been announced from Pune to Aurangabad. Not only this, night curfew has been imposed in Bhopal and Indore of Madhya Pradesh. Looking at the speed of Corona, it seems that the days of sanctions are returning to India once again. If this happens then it will be quite terrible, because the second wave of corona from America to Europe has caused the most devastation.
Millions of people lost their lives in America too
On the other hand, researchers at the University of Sydney and the University of Xinhua have claimed that the speed of the second wave in the US was slightly slower than in Europe. By the way, the second wave of corona which occurred in the US between October and December also killed millions of people. A total of one crore cases of corona were reported in the US between March and October, but in the next three months i.e. in November, December and January it increased to two crore.
Spanish flu also killed crores
Spanish flu and coronavirus have killed millions of people in the world at a difference of 100 years. From 1918 to 1920, about 500 million people were infected worldwide due to the Spanish flu, while five crore people died. Spanish flu also caused more furor in its second wave.
More destruction in European countries
A study in 46 countries of the world reported that the second wave of the coronavirus affected most European countries. In Britain, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden, the second wave of Corona caused more devastation. The medical system in these countries collapsed. There was no room left for the hospitalists to recruit the infected.
More deaths in the second wave
From March to May 2020 in 46 countries of the world, 2.20 lakh people died in the first wave. At the same time, between October and December, the number of deaths in these countries increased by about four lakh people. That means 6.20 lakh people died after the second wave of Corona.
Coronagraph in India
The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country increased to 1,14,38,734 after 28,903 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in India in a day. This is the highest number of cases reported in a single day this year. According to the data, 30,254 new cases of the virus were reported in 24 hours on December 13. A total of 1,10,45,284 people have become infection-free in the country. However, the national rate of recovery of patients has declined and is now 96.56 percent. At the same time, the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.39 percent.
Dangerous situation in Maharashtra
Corona cases continue to rise despite all the restrictions being implemented in Maharashtra. On Wednesday, more than 23 thousand corona cases have been found in the state. This is the highest number of corona cases reported in a single day so far this year. According to Health Department data, 23,179 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra on Wednesday. 9,138 people were discharged, while 84 people died in the last 24 hours. Thus the total number of cases has increased to 23,70,507. So far, 21,63,391 have been cured. There are 1,52,760 active cases and 53,080 people have lost their lives.
