The number of corona infections is increasing continuously across the country. With the new variant Omicron, the speed of Corona has become uncontrollable. Just a few days ago, where about 6 thousand cases of the corona were being reported. At the same time, now more than 5 times more than 30 thousand cases are being reported. In the last 24 hours also 37,379 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. During this, 124 people have also died.

 

The Health Ministry said that more than 11 thousand patients have also been discharged during this period. At the same time, the positivity rate has increased to 3.24 percent. The number of active cases in the country has increased to 1,71,830. The death toll has crossed 4 lakh 82 thousand.

Omicron total of 1892 cases

 

At the same time, the total cases of Omicron have increased to 1892 across the country. Out of the total patients, 766 people have been cured. Omicron has the highest number of 568 patients in Maharashtra. At the same time, there are 382 cases of Omicron in Delhi after this. Apart from this, 185 in Kerala, 174 in Rajasthan, 152 in Gujarat, 121 in Tamil Nadu, 67 in Karnataka, 63 in Haryana, 37 in Odisha, 20 in West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh 17, Madhya Pradesh 09, Uttar Pradesh 08, Uttarakhand 08, Goa has 05, Chandigarh- 03, Jammu and Kashmir- 03, Andaman and Nicobar- 02 and Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Manipur, and Punjab have one case each.
