I have never met Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, or Abdullah Azam as alleged in some reports. Makki claimed that the actions of Al Qaeda and ISIS were contrary to his ideology. He said, 'I condemn all forms of terrorism and violence carried out by such groups.'
'Never been faculty'
Makki, who has been declared a global terrorist in a video released from Lahore's Kot Lakhpat Jail, also denied allegations of being faculty of the Islamic University of Islamabad in the 1980s. Makki said that he has never taught in an Islamic university, and he has never been a faculty. Makki is the brother-in-law of Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai blasts. Makki has already been declared a global terrorist in India and America.
