China has given a big blow to its close friend Pakistan. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has declared Pakistani terrorist Abdul Rehman Makki a global terrorist. China had always been stalling on the issue of declaring Makki a global terrorist, but now China has pulled back from it. The UN has designated Makki a terrorist under the ISIL (Da'esh) and Al Qaeda Management Committee.

India brought the proposal last year

In June last year, India brought a proposal to the UN to declare Makki a global terrorist, but China blocked it. Because of this Makki could not be declared a global terrorist. India also reprimanded China for this. The US and India have already declared Makki a global terrorist.

Many types of restrictions will be imposed on maize

The UN has stated in this regard. The statement said that on January 16, 2023, UN committees declared Abdul Rehman Makki a global terrorist. After this, worldwide maize assets can be frozen. Apart from this, travel to Makki will also be banned.

Who is Abdul Rehman Makki?

Makki, the deputy chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Lashkar-e-Taiba, is the brother-in-law of 26/11 terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed. It is said that he has an important role in funding Lashkar-e-Taiba. Makki has also been involved in the Mumbai bomb blasts. He is accused of misleading the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and recruiting them into terrorist organizations. Makki also executes various conspiracies in the terrorist organization.
