Ravichandran Ashwin, a former player of Chennai Super Kings and off-spinner playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL-15, praised MS Dhoni in an interview. Praising popular Mahi for his finishing skills, Ashwin said, "Batting down the order in T20 cricket is something you never want to do but I have seen Dhoni do it for a long time." Seeing him, I used to think that what an amazing player he is.

No matter how much Dhoni is criticized, other players also want to be like him.

Ashwin further said- Dhoni always faced a lot of criticism for the fact that he slows down the game, But his ability to take the game deep and then finish it is superb. He is such a great player that others want to be like him. However, I don't think there will ever be another MS Dhoni.

Ashwin said these things in an interview given to the team ahead of the playoff match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans on Tuesday. Ravichandran Ashwin was a part of Chennai Super Kings in IPL from 2008 to 2015. In 120 matches played for CSK, Ashwin took 121 wickets and he is still second in the list of highest wicket-takers for Chennai.

In other teams, only 40 balls were available to play in the entire season.

Regarding batting in the top order in Rajasthan Royals, Ashwin said that in most of the teams, I used to get fewer chances to bat. I used to bat at numbers 7th, 8th, and 9th. I used to get to play around 40 balls throughout the season and it was very difficult for a player who knows a little bit of batting.

In the current season, Ashwin has scored 183 runs in 14 matches at an average of 30.50. During this, his strike rate has been above 146. In the same season against Delhi Capitals, Ashwin also scored the first half-century of his T20 career.

I was criticized a lot for experimenting too much

Ashwin, who has been in the news for his stellar performances in batting and bowling on the field, said that he had to face a lot of criticism for doing more things than he needed. Ashwin said, "People used to ask why am I doing this? Do I want to get more things than I need? But I am like this. If you remove this attitude from me, you will not get Ashwin."

Ashwin is often in the discussion about trying new things on the field. Recently, in the match against Lucknow, Ashwin became the first batsman to be retired in the IPL.
