In short, the result of the Bihar assembly elections is that the NDA, led by Nitish Kumar, has a majority and the Grand Alliance has stayed away from power. But after scrutinizing the results data, many interesting things are coming out. Tejashwi Yadav may not have reached power to his party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), but he has defeated BJP in terms of votes and seats. Comparing the figures for the 2015 assembly elections gives even more interesting facts.
The NDA won 225 seats in the elections held in 243 seats in three phases, while the Grand Alliance gave a tough fight to 110 seats. Speaking of NDA's allies, BJP has got 74 seats, JDU has 43 seats, VIP and Ham have 4-4 seats. The largest party is the RJD, which has got 75 seats. The Congress has got 19 seats and the Left parties a total of 16 seats.

If you look at the figures of the last assembly elections, the BJP, which was at number three, was at the forefront of vote share. In that election, BJP had got only 53 seats, but it was liked by 24.42 percent i.e. 93 lakh 08 thousand 15 voters. At the same time, RJD got 18.35 percent votes. A total of 69 lakh 95 thousand 509 people had voted. Apart from this, JDU got 16.83 percent and Congress 6.66 percent. Independents then had 9.39 percent of the vote.

Comparing the two elections, RJD has been very profitable in terms of vote share and it got 4.75 percent ie 27 lakh 40 thousand 733 votes more than last time. At the same time, BJP has gained 21 seats more than in 2015, but it has lost in terms of vote share. BJP has got 11 lakh 06 thousand 607 fewer votes this time. JDU has lost a lot in terms of vote share and seats. It has got 28 fewer seats than in 2015, so the vote share has also decreased.
