Iran Unrest: 'Iran halts executions of 800 people after Trump's warning', White House says it is monitoring the situation.

The Khamenei regime in Iran has employed every possible method of repression to crush the anti-government protests. Hundreds of protesters are likely to be executed, while thousands have already been arrested. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has claimed that the execution of 800 people scheduled for tomorrow in Iran has been halted.

 

 

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt issued a statement on the Iran issue. She said, "President Donald Trump and his team have sent a message to the Iranian regime that there will be serious consequences if the killings continue." She added that President Trump learned today that the 800 executions scheduled for tomorrow have been stopped.

Has the US attack on Iran been averted?

Caroline Leavitt said that President Trump and his team are closely monitoring the situation and that the President has all options open.

Following diplomatic efforts by four Gulf countries, US President Donald Trump said he would not attack Tehran for the time being.

Iran has also reopened its airspace. This has strengthened the belief that an attack on Iran has been averted.

 

 

Who brokered the reconciliation between the US and Iran?

The Gulf countries of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Egypt opened the path for dialogue between the US and Iran. According to a Reuters report, after approximately 48 hours of effort, US President Trump averted a potential attack on Iran. It is noteworthy that US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that there would be no attack on Iran for the time being. He said that the incidents of violence in Iran have decreased somewhat.
