While India will field with its full-strength team, Kangaroo team captain Pat Cummins has gone to Australia due to family reasons. In his place, vice-captain Steve Smith will take charge of the team. In the following story, we will look at the head-to-head record of both teams, pitch report, weather conditions, and top performers of the series.

Smith will captain in place of Cummins

Australia captain Pat Cummins returned to Australia due to family reasons. He will not play the third test. In his place, vice-captain Steve Smith will take charge of the team. Team management can include Mitchell Starc in the team in place of Cummins. Starc's bowling record in India is nothing special, but he has scored 263 runs in 4 Tests here with the bat. Bowling got him only 7 wickets during this period.
