Terrorists have attempted to infiltrate the Line of Control under District Kupwara in North Kashmir (Kupwara Encounter). It is reported that three terrorists have been killed in two separate encounters in Tangdar and Machhal sectors in Kupwara.

An encounter also took place between security forces and terrorists in Khawas tehsil of Rajouri district. According to the information received, this encounter occurred during the search operation, which was conducted after receiving information about the suspects late on Wednesday night.
