Actress Sonakshi Sinha is going to make a comeback on the big screen with the supernatural thriller Nikita Roy and her Dabangg co-star Salman Khan has tried his best to encourage her. Nikita Roy is going to be released tomorrow i.e. on July 18. Before this, Salman has expressed his excitement for the film and said that he is eagerly waiting for it.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) for Sonakshi's upcoming film, 'Sonakshi Devi becomes Nikita Roy, waiting for this film... You too go and watch it, it will be released tomorrow! Best wishes to the team'. Sonakshi reposted Salman's Instagram story and wrote, '18 July... do it'. Sonakshi is going to return to the big screen with a supernatural drama 'Nikita Roy' directed by her brother, Kush S Sinha.

 

In this film, Sonakshi plays the role of an investigator who exposes fraud and breaks misleading beliefs. Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal are also in important roles in this film. Nikita Roy was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on June 27, now it will release on July 18.

 

Salman's work front

Talking about Salman's next project, he is busy with a patriotic drama 'Battle of Galwan' based on the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley in 2020. The actor shared the poster of the film earlier this month. In the poster, Salman is seen with blood stains on his face, army uniform and anger in his eyes. The motion poster read, 'At more than 15,000 feet above sea level, India fought its most ferocious battle without firing a single bullet'.

 

He was last seen in the film Sikandar alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also featured Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Jatin Sarna, Sanjay Kapoor, Prateik, Smita Patil and Kishore. The film did not do well at the box office.
