Traumatic accident in Ludhiana: A huge fire broke out in the slum, 7 people of the same family from Bihar burnt alive

A painful accident has come to the fore in the area of ​​Makkar Colony located on Tibba Road. Seven people of the same family were burnt alive due to a sudden fire in the slum adjoining the garbage dump here late on Tuesday night. On getting information about the matter, the fire brigade team and police reached the spot. Where the fire brigade vehicle brought the fire under control in no time. At the same time, there was a hue and cry due to the death of 7 people of the same family sleeping in the slum due to the fire. All the deceased were residents of the Samastipur district of Bihar. The deceased included 5 children including the head of the family, the couple.

 

The deceased have been identified as Suresh Sahni (55), his wife Aruna Devi (52) daughter Rakhi (15), Manisha (10), Geeta (8), and Chanda (5), and son 2-year-old Sunny. The eldest son of the family, Rajesh, survived the incident, who had gone to sleep at his friend's house at night. Rajesh told that he is originally from the Samastipur district of Bihar. His father Suresh Kumar used to work as a scrap dealer. No one had thought that such a big accident would happen.

As soon as the matter was reported, a team of doctors from the Civil Hospital reached the spot. DC Surbhi Malik and Police Commissioner Kaustab Sharma reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The police have started the work of taking the dead bodies out to the civil hospital. As of now, the cause of the fire has not been revealed. Police are investigating the case. The forensic team has also reached the spot. It is worth mentioning that the incidents of fire in the city are increasing continuously during the summer season.
