'There is a big flaw in the system... Election Commission has also compromised', Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of Maharashtra elections in America

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has reached America. He addressed a session of students at Brown University in the American city of Boston. In this, he raised the issue of Maharashtra assembly elections and the transparency of the Election Commission. Rahul Gandhi said that the Election Commission has compromised.

Question on Election Commission figures

In his address, Rahul Gandhi said more people voted in Maharashtra elections than the adults there. The Election Commission released the voting figures at 5:30 in the evening. 65 lakh voters voted between 5:30 and 7:30 in the evening. But this is not physically possible.

Rahul Gandhi argued that it takes about 3 minutes to cast a vote. If you do a little math, it means that people would have been standing in line till 2 o'clock in the night. But this did not happen.

Accused of changing the law

Rahul Gandhi further alleged that when we asked whether videography was being done, they denied it. Not only denied but also changed the law. Now you are not allowed to ask about videography. Rahul Gandhi further said that it is very clear that the Election Commission has compromised. It is also clear that there is a big flaw in the system. We have also raised this issue publicly many times through media and other means.

BJP targeted the statement

BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari targeted Rahul Gandhi's statement. He said, 'Anti-democracy, anti-India Rahul Gandhi, who could not win the trust of Indian voters, has started questioning the Indian democratic process on foreign soil. Why does Rahul always defame India on foreign soil? Agent of George Soros, who is fighting the Indian state, this is Rahul Gandhi's intention today!'

Sam Pitroda welcomed him.

Rahul Gandhi reached America on 20 April. Here he was welcomed by Sam Pitroda, President of the Indian Overseas Congress. In a post, Pitroda wrote, "Rahul Gandhi, welcome to America! Voice of youth, democracy, and a better future. Let's listen, learn, and build together."

Rahul Gandhi can also interact with members of the NRI community, officials, and members of the Indian Overseas Congress here. Congress leader Pawan Khera gave information about Rahul Gandhi's visit to America.

He wrote that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Brown University in Rhode Island, USA on 21 and 22 April. He will give a speech and interact with the students. In September last year too, Rahul Gandhi had visited America for three days.
