The election atmosphere in Maharashtra is at its peak. All political parties are trying their best to show their strength. Political parties are also adopting different tactics to woo voters. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray has made five big promises to the public during a meeting in Ratnagiri on Tuesday.

 

Uddhav Thackeray's five big promises

 

• Uddhav Thackeray said that the female students of the state are provided free education by the government. However, if the Maha Vikas Aghadi comes to power in the state, then the students of the state will also be given free education. Both son and daughter are the pillars of the family. Therefore, along with daughters, sons will also be given free education in government schools

 

• The former CM said that women often do not know where to complain when they go to the police station. Given this, women police personnel will be recruited when the MVA comes to power in the state. Police stations equipped with women policemen will be set up with women officers in senior positions.

 

• Shiv Sena UBT leader said that he has promised to cancel the Adani project in Mumbai and give houses to Dharavi residents along with industry. He said that people from rural areas should come to Mumbai. At the same time, he told the Kolhapuri residents that Mumbai is yours, it belongs to the Marathi people. Marathi people have saved Mumbai by shedding blood.

 

That's why you have the right over Mumbai. Thackeray said that if we come to power in the coming days, then we will provide cheap houses to the Bhumiputras of Maharashtra in Dharavi and Mumbai areas.

 

• Thackeray further said that when MVA comes to power, the farmers of the state will be given MSP. If our government had not fallen, the farmers would have been debt-free by now. But when we come back to power, we will give MSP to agricultural produce.

 

• He said that during our government, the prices of five essential commodities were stable. Now when we come back to power, there will be no change in the prices of essential commodities in Maharashtra for the next five years, we will keep it stable. Our government will keep the prices of essential commodities like pulses, rice, sugar, and oil stable.
