On the occasion of the death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to him and underlined the relevance of his thoughts. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's thinking of Antyodaya is being realized today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He cornered the opposition on hollow slogans of poverty eradication, CM Yogi also attacked those who spread misinformation about the Maha Kumbh. CM Yogi said that people who took VVIP treatment throughout their lives are today engaged in spreading misinformation about the Maha Kumbh.

Modi government has worked to empower the poor in the last 11 years - CM Yogi.

CM Yogi said that previous governments gave big slogans to eradicate poverty, but the number of poor continued to increase. At the same time, the Modi government has worked to empower the poor in the last 11 years. During this, he discussed schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, toilet construction, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Ayushman Bharat. He said that so far 4 crore poor people have got houses, 12 crore toilets have been built, 10 crore people have got free gas connection and 80 crore people are being given free ration. All these schemes are realizing the mantra of Antyodaya.

CM Yogi hit back at the opposition on the propaganda being done about Maha Kumbh.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also responded to the propaganda being done by the opposition about Maha Kumbh. He said that in Prayagraj, 45 crore devotees have taken a holy dip in the Sangam in 29 days, which is a historic event. He said that after India and China, no country in the world has a population of 45 crore, which can be bigger than more than 45 crore devotees coming and taking a dip in a temporary city. He said that some people are trying to spread confusion by linking it to the VIP bath, but the truth is that Maha Kumbh is a confluence of harmony and faith, where all devotees join together by eliminating the discrimination of caste, religion, language, region. But who are these people spreading negativity, these are the same people who have taken VVIP treatment from the government all their lives and tried to open a path for their future generations. These are the same people who always stand against India and Sanatan by creating negativity and are busy spreading propaganda.

CM Yogi showed the mirror to the negative politics of the opposition on development works.

CM Yogi also took a dig at the people who obstruct the development work and said that whenever a new scheme starts, some people have the habit of finding flaws only. Giving an example, he said that 'when the pipeline is laid, the roads get damaged due to digging, but when that work is completed, people get facilities.' Targeting the opposition parties, he said that when we give housing to 4 crore people, they say that there are still many people left, I want to tell them that 3 crore more houses have been approved. Those who earlier enjoyed only VIP facilities are now raising questions about the facilities being provided to the general public. Targeting the opposition, Chief Minister Yogi said that earlier governments only gave slogans of poverty eradication, but in reality, the number of poor people kept increasing. He said that the Modi government did the real work of poverty eradication through the effective implementation of schemes.
