Malik said that Umran was not at all disappointed at not getting a chance during the home series against South Africa, he had faith in the above. Father did not want their son to sell vegetables and fruits

 

Umran's father has a fruit and vegetable shop at Shaheedi Chowk in Jammu. Malik did not want his son to sell vegetables and fruits like him. That's why he told Umran never to come to the shop. Malik told that he never stopped Umran from playing cricket.

 

Used to exercise till late evening at home

 

Malik told that the passion for cricket in Umran was such that he used to exercise till late in the evening. Not only this, but even at home, he used to insist on playing cricket with both his elder sisters.

 

Abdul Samad took him to Hyderabad

 

The credit for connecting Umran Malik with the Sunrisers Hyderabad team goes to the player of Jammu, Abdul Samad. Abdul Samad used to train in the stadium with permission from the government during the lockdown. During that time he used to take Umran along to practice batting.
