Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is now targeting Russia after India to brighten domestic politics. Trudeau, who has already cornered Russia over the war with Ukraine, has now accused it of creating a food and energy crisis. He said in a meeting organized by the United Nations Security Council on the Ukraine issue that Russia has recently weaponized food and energy.

Trudeau said in his speech, "Russia has weaponized energy and food, due to which millions of people are suffering from its shortage. Due to the food crisis, situations of starvation are arising. Trudeau said that Canada is the most affected by the crisis. "Dedicated to helping those in need." He said that we do not think that we have to select between support for Ukraine and the Sustainable Development Goals-global development issue. The responsible step is for us to select both, which we are doing with full strength and financial commitment.

'Ukraine's fight is our fight'

Trudeau called on Russia to immediately withdraw its troops from Ukraine and said the ongoing fight in Ukraine is Canada's fight too. He said that this is our joint struggle and no one should have any doubt about it. Trudeau advised Russia on peace, saying that peace between the two countries should be based on respect for rules. This peace must be based on humanism and shared values.

Putin was also cornered in the speech

Trudeau also targeted Russian President Vladimir Putin during his speech. He said that Putin has violated Ukraine's autonomy and territorial integrity. He said that it is extremely important to take action against such violence and deaths. Trudeau alleged that Russia has used its veto power in the United Nations to promote war. He indirectly targeted the UN and said that it was formed to save people from the punishment of war.
