'Banrakas- Vinod is watching how under the guise of normalization, the youth were turned from officers to agitators. Vinod- Even the honorable Yogi Adityanath is watching, it is the compulsion of the youth, what else can they do except agitation.'
This dialogue between Vinod and Banrakas in the banner hanging outside gate number two of the commission has been coined by a candidate involved in the movement. The candidates have tried to convey their point to the Chief Minister by taking a dig at the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and the state government through these two characters of the Panchayat web series.
A demand for a 'one day one shift' examination has also been made on the banner. The eyes of the candidates are now fixed on the Chief Minister. On the third day of the protest in front of gate number two of UPPSC, many such posters and banners were seen pasted on the walls of the commission and hanging at various places on Wednesday. By 10 am, hundreds of students were present at the protest site and by noon their number reached thousands.
After leaving the coaching in the evening, there was no space left to walk properly on the road from gate number 2 of the commission to the Public Service Commission square. The scene in the evening was like a fair on Dussehra. Amidst the preparations for Kumbh, the 'Kumbh' of the youth was seen in the colorful lights installed on the divider in the middle of the road. On one hand, the students sat in a circle at various places on the road and kept discussing the disadvantages of normalization, while on the other hand, right in front of the gate of the commission, the students remained adamant on their demands in a different style amidst the drums. This continued till late at night.
Daughters led the movement in the evening.
On Wednesday evening, a large number of female students reached the protest site and the protest was carried forward under their leadership. The female students also did not lag behind in raising slogans. Standing shoulder to shoulder with the students, the daughters also clearly said that until the demand of conducting a one-day examination and canceling normalization is not met, they will remain standing in front of the commission.
Aha, tomatoes are very interesting, normalization is useless.
‘Aha tomatoes are very interesting, normalization is useless. One day-one shift.’ On Wednesday, posters with this slogan were seen in the hands of many candidates in front of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. A female student had a poster in her hand, which read UPCS RO/ARO one day-one shift, no normalization, neither will we divide nor will we leave, we will join and win.
Students took out a candle march at the protest site.
Thousands of students present at the protest site took out a candle march on Wednesday evening. This march was taken out from Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission crossing to gate number two. Students also expressed their protest by lighting mobile torches. The number of students was so high that the road lit up with the light of the candle march and mobile torches.
