The Pentagon, the headquarters of the US Defense Ministry, has bluntly said that there are strong indications that China is considering helping Russia in the war against Ukraine. Pentagon press secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder said it could be catastrophic. Earlier, the Biden administration has also expressed apprehension about the supply of drones and modern weapons by China to Russia in the Ukraine war.
Brigadier General Pat Ryder said, our indications are clear that China is considering this. I don't have any additional information or any intelligence on this, except for the fact that they haven't abandoned the idea of helping Russia. I want to make it clear that this would be a very wrong decision. This is something that the Pentagon is keeping a close eye on.
