Officials say the accident occurred suddenly because the Bolero changed direction, causing minor damage to the actor's car. The actor's car was damaged in the collision, but Vijay escaped unhurt. According to the police, "Actor Vijay Deverakonda was traveling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad at around 3 p.m. when a Bolero car ahead of him suddenly swerved to the right, hitting the left side of his car. Vijay and two other people were in the car. Thankfully, no one was injured. He immediately found another vehicle, and his team filed a police complaint for insurance."
