Violence against Hindus in Bangladesh is not stopping, fundamentalists now break 6 statues

Violence targeting the Hindu community continues in Bangladesh after Muslim extremists vandalized Durga Puja pandals and idols. On October 16, six idols of Daniyapara Mahashamshan Kali temple in Munshiganj were vandalized. According to a report in The Daily Star, this sabotage took place between 3-4 am. This has been confirmed by the local assistant superintendent of police, Mohammad Rashedul Islam. He has told that there was no security in the temple. Only the idols have been demolished.

 

Shubhrata Dev Nath Vanu, general secretary of Daniyapara Mahashamshan Kali Mandir, has said that the main door lock was broken. The tin shed has also been cut. All the idols of the temple have been destroyed. Talking to the media, he has said that we are preparing to write a report in the police. Such an incident has never happened in the temple.

 

On October 13, communal violence broke out at several places in Bangladesh after news surfaced on social media about the alleged desecration of the Holy Quran at a Durga Puja site on the banks of Nanuar Dighi. Several places of worship have been vandalized in Chandpur, Chittagong, Ghazipur, Bandarban, Chapainwabganj, and Maulvibazar.

 

Many people have been injured in these clashes. Jatan Kumar Saha, named Jatan Kumar Saha, was killed and 17 people were injured in the attack in Bangladesh's Noakhali district. Along with this, a mob of fanatics also attacked the ISKCON temple in Noakhali and according to reports, one person has died here too.
