Russo-Ukraine War: Russia fires 30 phosphorus bombs on the city of Yunyakivka; Ukraine gets EU candidate status

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues even after 4 months. Ukraine has claimed that the Russian military used a banned phosphorus bomb on it. Ukraine said in a statement that the Russian military had fired about 30 banned phosphorus bombs from the Grad multiple launch rocket system on the city of Yunyakivka in the Sumy region. This was informed by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmitry Zhivitsky.

 

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has criticized Russia in this regard. He said that Russia is not following the rules of war. The Russian military has fired phosphorus bombs on Ukraine, which are banned in war. Zelensky said information was being gathered about the casualties and damage caused by these bombs.

 

Russia explodes 20 in the city of Seredina-Buda

 

On Thursday evening, the Russian army fired mortars on the city of Seredina-Buda. Russia carried out about 20 explosions one after the other, injuring many people. According to the information, Russia has carried out about 100 attacks in the Sumy region in the last few days.

Ukraine has received candidate status to join the European Union. European Council President Charles Michel has given this information on Twitter. He said that Ukraine and Moldova have got the status of candidates for the European Union. He congratulated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of Moldova Maia Sandu.

 

On Thursday, the leaders of the European Union (EU) agreed to give candidate status to Ukraine to join the 27-nation body. Ukraine began efforts to join the European Union a few days after the war broke out.
