That's why Indian medical students go abroad
It is cheaper for Indians to study medicine in countries like Ukraine. In many countries including Ukraine and Russia, medical education can be completed by spending about 30 lakh rupees in five years. Whereas in India its expenditure reaches from 70 lakh to one crore. If the seats are fewer then the problems increase. The courses in these countries are recognized by the World Health Organization. Along with India, they are also recognized by the European Council and Medicine, General Medicine Council of the UK. This opens up good options for the students. After doing MBBS from abroad, these students have to give a test in India. However, it is only kind of formal.
