A person was found infected in a mall in Beijing. After this, the entire mall was sealed. The close relatives of all those who came under the grip of infection were also investigated.

The government had brought a Zero Covid policy only after the infection spread in Wuhan. It was being tightened continuously. Under this, all trains and flights operating from Wuhan were stopped. Huanggang and Izhou were the most affected after Wuhan. Travel was banned here too. Public transport and trains were stopped in both cities. A travel ban was imposed on the people of Jilin province, located on the North Korea border, outside the province and surrounding areas.

The government had completely banned schools, offices, transport services, airports, metro services, and the movement of people from one place to another. Not only this, the borders of the country were sealed. Patrolling was increased on the border to stop people coming illegally from other countries. A reward of 15 lakhs was kept on giving information about the people responsible for Covid in Hiye, a city adjacent to Russia.

The CanSino Biologics vaccine was approved for the military in June. After this China made another vaccine. It is surprising that even before the results of the trials came, it was also patented. The government claimed that the epidemic was spreading on a large scale in China. Production will start as soon as the patent is received. The patent strengthened the claim of the safety and effectiveness of this vaccine.

 

Contrary to China's claims, the situation there

 

Epidemiologist Liang Wanyan, who is heading the government's prevention committee for corona in 2021, said in an interview that China has effectively controlled community Covid cases. Defending the zero-tolerance policy, he had said that only strictness is the most effective way to stop the epidemic.

 

Even after three years, the situation has not come under control. Even today all the beds in the hospitals are full. Medicines are running out. Long queues are being seen in front of medical stores. Not only this, patients can be seen pleading in front of the doctor.

 

China says that 90% of its population is fully vaccinated. That means they have got all the doses of the vaccine. Experts say that till now only 38% of vaccination has been done in China. It is only 10% of people over the age of 65. While they are most afraid of serious infection.

 

The main reason for this is people's lack of trust in the vaccine. Its side effects are visible in some, which demotivates the rest of the people to take the dosage. This is especially happening with the elderly. Such people say that instead of taking the vaccine, they would prefer to face the virus.

There is no danger from this now. On the other hand, Omicron's new variant BF.7 is spreading in China. Health experts say that this is the most powerful variant of Omicron.

 

Issuing an advisory, the government is saying that the risk of the corona is negligible. Even if someone gets corona, they can stay in isolation at home. Despite being positive, they will not show many symptoms of the corona. That's why there is no need to be afraid.

 

Despite the government's rhetoric and advisory that the risk is low, cases of infection are increasing. Every day more than 30 thousand people are calling on the local medical emergency helpline seeking help. The situation is worse in Sichuan province. Every day 700-800 patients are coming here with the problem of fever.
