The final match of the World Test Championship between India and Australia is to be played from June 7. There is every expectation of fierce competition between the two teams to become the world champion in Test cricket on the ground of The Oval. However, which team will take home the trophy if the WTC goes through to a final draw, despite a hotly contested 22-yard pitch? All such questions must be arising in your mind as well, so let us clear all your confusion.

What if the WTC final is a draw?

If the final match of the World Test Championship between India and Australia ends in a draw, then the Kangaroo team will not be declared champions despite being on top of the table. If the final match is a draw, then both the teams will be declared joint winners and the trophy will be shared between India and Australia.

What if the rain became the villain?

If rain becomes a villain in the final match of the World Test Championship, then like last time a reserve day has been kept this time too. In case of rain interruption, reserve day will be used for the result of the match. However, reserve-day will be used only when six hours of play or 90 overs cannot be completed on each day.

Team India has reached the final for the second time in a row.

The Indian team has made its place in the final of the World Test Championship for the second time in a row. Last time, under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, Team India had traveled till the WTC final, but New Zealand had shattered India's dream of becoming the world champion. In such a situation, this time under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team would not want to miss this opportunity at all.
