This year, till March 18, the maximum temperature has reached 36 degrees Celsius, on Friday also the maximum temperature remained 36 degrees Celsius.

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there will be no significant change in the weather during the next week. With this, there is a possibility of an increase in heat only. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no chance of rain this week till March 24. Record-breaking heat has also been forecast, especially in May-June, there is a possibility of severe heat with a heatwave.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, first, the record-breaking rain in monsoon, then the record-breaking winter in winter and now the heat in March is also on the way to set a new record. By Saturday, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 37 degrees. In such a situation, by the end of the month, it is not surprising if it goes up to 40 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, the current record in March is on 31 March 1945 when the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.6 degrees. This year also, the maximum temperature is increasing every day for a week. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature can reach 37 degrees Celsius in the next two to three days. In such a situation, the possibility of crossing 40 degrees by March 31 cannot be ruled out.

 

At the same time, if the meteorologists are to be believed, the main reason for the excessive heat in March this year is the formation of an area of ​​anti-cyclone over western Rajasthan. Due to this, the north-westerly winds are coming from the opposite direction in the clockwise direction, while the heat of central Pakistan is also reaching here. That is why the temperature has increased by four to five degrees in parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and North India. There are reports of a heatwave in Rajasthan. In the second week of April, it should not be surprising if heat waves start blowing in Delhi as well.

 

At the same time, Dr. RK Jenamani (Senior Scientist, Meteorological Department) says that the weather conditions keep changing. When there was record rain in March 2020, the maximum temperature was only 33.3 degrees. This time it hasn't rained yet. However, even then the temperature of 35 to 36 degrees cannot be called too much. Therefore, it is difficult to say anything about the record heat in March, but the way the heat is increasing, it should not be surprising if the record is broken.
