The temperature in Kedarnath Dham has reached minus 7.
The temperature increased in Kashmir but the minimum temperature is still below zero. In Srinagar too, Monday morning was the coldest of this season. The minimum temperature was recorded at minus 4.8 degrees Celsius. The weather department has predicted rain. Meanwhile, Meteorological Department Director General Mrityunjay Mahapatra said that except in some parts of Central and North India, the maximum and minimum temperatures in December are expected to be above normal in most parts of the country.

The weather remained bad in Kullu and Lahaul Valley from late Monday night till 9 am on Tuesday. Due to this, the severity of cold in the lower areas has increased much more than before. At the same time, there was light snowfall in the upper peaks of Manimahesh, Kugati, and Kawarsi and cold in the lower areas of the tribal area of Bharmour. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was 22.7 in Una, 19.5 in Solan, 19.2 in Sundernagar, 18.4 in Kangra, 18.0 in Dharamshala, 17.5 in Nahan, 16.8 in Mandi, 15.5 in Chamba, 13.4 in Shimla, 12.3 in Manali, 4.2 in Kalpa and Keylong. 1.2 degrees Celsius was recorded.
Severe cold in Haryana, warning for five cities
