Weather Update: Cyclonic storm Hamoon weakens, Delhi's air spoiled due to stubble; Read the weather conditions of other states

The Meteorological Department said that Severe Cyclone Hamun has now weakened and it now lies as a depression south of Mizoram. Apart from this, IMD has predicted light fog in the national capital Delhi this morning. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear during the day in Delhi, due to which the minimum temperature is also likely to be below normal.

 

IMD issued an alert on a cyclonic storm

The Meteorological Department said that the cyclonic storm Hamun formed over the Bay of Bengal has crossed the coast of Bangladesh. IMD said that when this storm crossed the coast of Bangladesh, the winds were blowing at a speed of 75 to 85 kilometers per hour. Umashankar Das, a senior scientist at IMD Bhubaneswar, said Cyclone Hamun has weakened considerably and it remains a depression south of Mizoram. He said that by the time the storm Hamoon reached the land, it had weakened and turned into a cyclonic storm. During this period, the wind speed increased from 75 km per hour to 85 km per hour and reached 95 km per hour.

 

Delhi-NCR's air reaches the poor category

  On the other hand, the smoke of stubble is visible everywhere in Delhi, and the effect of fog is also visible in Delhi in the morning and evening. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that light fog will be seen in the capital in the morning. However, the sky will remain clear during the day. Here, the air of Delhi-NCR has once again reached the poor category. The air quality index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded at 256, while the AQI in Gurugram was recorded at 176. According to the department, there is a possibility of light fog in the morning in the capital for the coming two to three days.

 

Snowy winds are blowing in Himachal

Due to snowfall in the high-altitude tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh, blizzard winds are blowing. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in the state during the next four to five days. At the same time, Meteorological Department Director Surendra Pal said that there is little possibility of any significant change in the weather in the state during the next four to five days.

 

How will the weather be in UP-Bihar?

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in most areas of Bihar. There is no possibility of rain anywhere in the state. Here the cold will increase further in the evening and morning. At the same time, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of an increase in cold in UP during the next few days.
