The mercury dropped to minus 7.5 degrees Celsius in Himachal's Kukumseri while it was minus 6.2 degrees in Pahalgam. "Moderate to dense fog is observed over Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh adjoining East Rajasthan, central parts of Uttar Pradesh, South Assam, and Tripura," the IMD wrote in a post on Twitter.
Mercury below zero in most districts of Kashmir
