Weather Update Today: Alert in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, school holiday in Bhopal, know the weather condition

Monsoon is once again kind in many states of the country. It is raining in many states including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Haryana. The Meteorological Department also issued an alert for many states on Tuesday. A holiday has been declared in schools in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, due to incessant rains.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi NCR today. At the same time, because of the possibility of heavy rains in many districts in Gujarat and Odisha, an alert has been issued today. Bhopal Collector declared a holiday for the students in all government, private, Navodaya, and CBSE schools today for the safety of the students because of the continuous heavy rains in the district.

 

Due to the low-pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal, the period of fresh rains is continuing. Due to this, the surrounding states are receiving heavy to moderate rainfall. Monsoon is active over Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Bengal. An alert of heavy rain has been issued in four districts of Odisha namely Nabarangpur, Naupada, Bolangir, and Bargh.

 

Heavy rain in hill states including Uttarakhand

 

Talking about the northern regions, Uttarakhand and other hilly states are receiving heavy rains. Heavy rains have affected life in many districts of Uttarakhand. Here, light to moderate rain is expected in some areas of Delhi NCR and UP also.

 

These seasonal systems are active

 

According to private weather agency Skymet, a pressure area is persisting over Odisha and adjoining areas of North Chhattisgarh and it has moved west-northwestwards. It is likely to continue in a west-northwest direction. On the other hand, a low-pressure area remains over the North-West Arabian Sea. At the same time, the Trough of the Monsoon is passing through the depression center over Bikaner, Kota, Sagar, North Chhattisgarh, and Balasore and then moving southeast towards the Bay of Bengal whereas, an offshore trough from South Gujarat to Maharashtra Coast. The line remains. Due to all these weather systems, the spell of rain will continue.
