The hill states of North India received heavy snowfall on Monday. Major highways were closed in Jammu and Kashmir due to heavy snowfall and rain overnight since Sunday evening. The Meteorological Department said that there will be a partly cloudy sky in the state from Tuesday to Friday. There is a chance of light to moderate rain or snow on Saturday. However, there is no chance of any major snowfall till November 20.
