Now the cold is continuously increasing in all the states of North India including Delhi. The temperature continues to fall in many states of North India including UP, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu, and Kashmir and people are now fearing cold waves. A blanket of fog is visible in the national capital Delhi in the morning. At the same time, coolness is being seen in the weather even in the evening.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, on the one hand, there will be an increase in the cold in North India, on the other hand, the rainy season will continue in the states of South India. Apart from this, snowfall can also be seen in the mountains i.e. Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and some areas of Jammu and Kashmir. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of a further drop in temperature in the next two-three days.

 

The Meteorological Department told that it will rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep, and Karnataka for the next 3-4 days. Not only this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Tamil Nadu on 3 December. A cyclonic circulation is very likely to develop over South Andaman Sea around 4 December 2022. Under its influence, a low-pressure area may form over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining the south Andaman Sea around December 5. It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate. A depression would form over the southeast Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours. Thereafter, it is very likely to move west-northwestwards and reach near the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts on 8 December.

 

How will be the weather in Delhi?

The maximum temperature in Delhi can be recorded at 25 degrees while the minimum temperature can be recorded at 8 degrees. Fog is seen in the national capital and NCR areas in the morning. Visibility is very low in many places. At the same time, there is no possibility of any improvement in the level of pollution. According to the Meteorological Department, many parts of North West India will have short winters mainly due to the possible activity of Western Disturbance.

The cold has suddenly increased in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh due to the westerly wind. In many districts including Bihar's capital Patna, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, and East Champaran, a sudden drop in temperature has been recorded and chill has increased. It is believed that tremors may increase in the coming days. At the same time, the cold has also increased in UP, Uttarakhand, and Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, a drop in temperature will be recorded even today. At the same time, there will be fog in the morning for the next two-three days in Delhi and there are chances of sunshine during the day.

 

Where will it rain today?

According to the weather information website Skymet Weather, today there may be moderate rain in one or two places with light rain in parts of Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Not only this, scattered light rain is possible over Kerala. In addition, light rain may occur at one or two places over Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh as well as in higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir. No significant improvement is expected in the air quality of Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad.

Snowfall in the mountains has started feeling cold. There are chances of snowfall in some areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of a further drop in temperature in the next two-three days.

 

The weather condition in Uttarakhand

Light to moderate clouds will prevail in most parts of the state for the next four days. Due to this, the temperature will drop by two to three degrees Celsius, due to which the cold is likely to increase.

 

However, there is no possibility of rain at the moment. In such a situation, the weather will remain dry. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of dense clouds and drizzle in some places in the higher Himalayan regions. There may also be snowfall in the higher reaches.
