Weather Update: Western Disturbance will bring relief from the scorching heat, there is a possibility of heat in these states including Delhi even today

North India, which is scorching by the scorching heat, may soon get some relief from its outbreak. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the Western Disturbance will be active twice between April 12 and 15, which can cause rainfall between April 13 and 17. Let us inform you that many states including the national capital Delhi are in the grip of a heatwave for the past several days. Heatwave conditions will prevail in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab today ie on Tuesday, while some relief is expected from the heatwave in Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana from tomorrow. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, and adjoining areas today.

 

It is noteworthy that no significant Western Disturbance has been observed in the first ten days of April. Dry and hot air from the west and north-west direction continued over the northern plains. In the Jammu division and some parts of Uttarakhand, their nature was outrageous.

 

Now after scorching Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab in April, a Western Disturbance is expected to approach the Western Himalayas on the night of 12 April. The second time it may become active around April 15. With this, scattered rain and thundershowers are very likely to occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh between April 13 and 17. According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance is likely to approach the Western Himalayas by the night of April 12. These changes will create a favorable environment for rain.

 

Delhi moving toward becoming a heat capital

 

Due to the increasing heat year after year, the capital of the country, Delhi is moving towards becoming the heated capital. The report of the Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is also showing the trend of continuous increase in the temperature of Delhi. If we look at the data of the Meteorological Department, between 1981 and 2010, an increase of 0.5 percent was recorded in the average maximum temperature of Delhi from March to May. Due to this, the average temperature came down to 35 to 35.5 degrees. After this, from 2010 to 2021, this increase has been around one degree. The IPCC report, released on 16 August 2021, warned that Delhi's average temperature could rise by 5.3 degrees by the end of the century due to rising heat islands and emissions. The maximum temperature can be recorded above 35 degrees for 187 days in a year.

 

Somewhere in Bihar, the temperature is 41 degrees and hail is falling somewhere.

 

 There is a rapid change in the weather in Bihar within 24 hours. On Monday, Buxar recorded a maximum temperature of 41.5 degrees Celsius and Gaya's 39.7 degrees Celsius, while hail fell in many areas including West Champaran, Kishanganj, and Araria. Due to the strengthening of easterly wind conditions, a drop in the maximum temperature was recorded in the North-Eastern districts. The maximum temperature of Patna was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Center, with the flow of the east, the moisture-rich air freezes in the form of a cold drop, which looks like snow. Hail falls when there is strong pressure for rain. According to agricultural scientists, due to the fall of hail, along with the standing crop in the fields, mango and litchi will also have a bad effect. Meteorologist Ashish Kumar said that due to the flow of easterly wind, light rain is forecast in East and West Champaran, Gopalganj, Araria, and Kishanganj of the state on Tuesday.
