Who is YS Sharmila?
YS Sharmila is the daughter of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Rajasekhar was the CM of United Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to 2009 on behalf of the Congress. He died in a helicopter crash. After Rajasekhar's death, the tussle between his son Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Congress increased. Because of this, Jagan Mohan Reddy formed a separate party named YSR Congress. Jagan Mohan Reddy is the current CM of Andhra Pradesh.
Learned the tricks of politics from father
It is said that Sharmila's way of working is similar to that of her father Rajasekhara Reddy. He learned the tricks of politics from his father only. In the year 2019, he campaigned a lot for his brother's party. YSR Congress Party won in 2019 and Jagan Mohan Reddy became the CM.
Sharmila made YSRTP
About two years ago, Sharmila announced her entry into Telangana politics. He formed his own YSR Telangana Party, separate from his brother's party. Sharmila is working hard to establish a foothold in Telangana politics. She is constantly raising the issue of paper leaks. He was sent to 14-day custody for slapping a policeman but got bail.
