Now the country is waiting for approval from the upper house i.e. Senate. Companies in the Netherlands can currently reject work-from-home requests of employees without giving reasons, but after this law, they will have to give reasons.
According to the report of the Wall Street Journal, Senna Mataug of the GroenLinks party said – the passing of this bill will help employees to make balance in life as well as save time spent on traveling. Mataug is one of those who prepared this bill.
